Mikael Jasin
Mikael started his coffee journey in 2012 while living in Melbourne, Australia before eventually heading the coffee bars of some of Melbourne's busiest cafes. He moved back to his native Indonesia in 2017 to join Common Grounds Coffee Roasters & ST. ALi Jakarta doing Marketing & Quality Control roles.
Mikael is also a coffee competitor. After competing several times, Mikael won the Indonesian Barista Championship in 2019. He went on to become the first Indonesian in a World Barista Championship final, coming 4th in WBC Boston, 2019, and a champion in 2024.
Mikael enjoys drinking natural wine, eating carb-loaded food, doing 4 AM runs & working out and sometimes not eating any food for days for charity.
COO
Kenny Ang
Kenny completed his military service in Singapore in 2007, and went on to work in the aquaculture and agriculture sector in Malaysia for the next 6 years. In 2013, he moved to Jakarta to dabble in commodity trading.
By 2018, he has expanded to coffee trade industry, starting at the distribution level. Kenny believes that a successful idea is a profitable one. Today, he is in charge of the business operation of the company, and is laser-focused on keeping the company profitable.
Sustainability & Transparency, People Officer
Naomi
Naomi handles company activities that are related to the environmental, social and governance aspects, so she tracks and calculates the company's carbon footprint, making sure that our company operation is ethical according to the Sustainability pillar.
Naomi appreciates art, music and loves a good cup of cafe latte!
Key Account Executive
Kelvin
Kelvin was the runner up of the Indonesian Barista Championship back in the year of 2022. Working alongside Elin, Kelvin focuses on the technical aspect of things.
In his spare time, Kelvin like to play basketball.

Rizal
Rizal believes in creating connections beyond the professional realm- he turns every interaction to understand, collaborate and build lasting relationships.
Outside of selling our best coffees, Rizal loves exploring nature and enjoys trying out the latest, newest addition of eateries both in town and out of town.
Fermentation Specialist
Damar
Damar loves science, and it's no wonder he enjoys spending time at the Farms, supervising the fermentation process and the Lab, doing research work.
In his leisure time, he loves to read articles and journals.
Finance Controller
Erica
Erica here is responsible for all the company's financial aspects.
She is a full time vegetarian and really loves her veggies!

Nanda
A certified Q Grader himself, Nanda cups daily to ensure the quality of our beans. He also acts as a hub between CATUR and the coffee producers.
Nanda loves sports... and this includes e-sports too!
Production Assistant & Graphic Designer
Novan
Novan assist our production team, working closely with Nanda and Taufik to ensure the smooth operation of our production process.
Beyond his production role, Novan is a talented graphic designer. His creative vision and artistic skills bring our brand to life through stunning illustrations and captivating messages.

Sarido, or Rido as we know him, is the financial architect of the company, working hand to hand with Erica.
When he's not busy crunching numbers, he's likely lost in a virtual world, indulging in his passion for mobile gaming.

Avilla handles our logistics matters for both export and import.
Avilla loves playing mobile games during her spare time.
Warehouse Controller
Taufik
Taufik controls what goes into our Warehouse and what gets out.
Taufik loves animals. He breeds his betta fish and owns birds. He is really, really good at badminton, living up to his name.
